Art in the Gardens

At the beginning of the month I attended my first art fair as a market trader! The annual Art in the Gardens is held in the botanical gardens here in Sheffield and I was proud to set up shop for the weekend offering original canvases and prints. This was a great learning experience for me in setting up a stall and displaying my work (as well as restraining myself from the exuberant market stall calls of “get yer art prints here...”). It was great to get so much positive feedback from people and I seemed to strike a particular chord with dads who appeared to perk up at the sight of Star Wars references.Managed to sell some prints too!

All in all a great weekend and a big thanks to my parents for helping out so much.
