Johnny Sampson
Thus begins a regular feature of showcasing some of the awesome artists I'm lucky enough to have met either in person or stumbled upon online. We start with Chicago based artist Johnny Sampson. It's clear from his work that he has a fond love of all things cult and creates some authentically vintage images to really ramp up the nostalgia. I first became aware of Johnny's work through an excellent painting process guide available here for his awesome Warriors piece.

Take a look through his work and you'll find more examples of his excellent style and some great reference choices (never thought I'd see a 'Burbs piece!) You'll also see that he's kept busy with poster and tshirt design work (some of which is for The Hundreds brand).
Keep up the good work dude.

Web Feature
Big thanks to Jim Bowers over at Capedwonder.com for featuring my Superman piece 'The Man Who Fell To Earth' as part of his collection of tribute art. He even had some kind words to say on the 'what's new?' section. Thanks again Jim!

SSRG Merch!
Great to see my logo design for the Sheffield Steel Rollergirls on some merchandise! Here it is on a regular T but at the recent Sheffield bout I caught it plastered on hoodies and vest tops too! Really pleased with how this turned out, I guess a nice clean vector makes for a good screen print!
Congrats to all the SSRG for winning their debut bout here in Sheffield!
